Tracking Tips

Partials: By default "partials" are enabled. This means that, for example, if you create a tracker for toys - posts about toystory will be saved. If you disable partials then only the specific word toys will be tracked.

Spaces: Allowing partials? Spaces in your tracker can be quite useful. Use them to help you track a specific prefix/suffix.

Ex: If you track "hate", words like "whatever" will count as a result. Adding a space before it like so " hate" would only pick up things containing "hate", "hateful" & "hated"

You do not need to wrap phrases in quotes!

*deleting a tracker will also remove all archived results and statistics that the tracker produced

I disagree. Branding has nothing to do with logos. Branding is about positioning yourself. It’s about positioning yourself so well that you figure out your target audience through social listening, see what part of the hero’s journey they are on and then communicate (aka marketing) that to the end user, which is the consumer CONSISTENTLY. It’s offering a unique value proposition. What can your customer do with your $500 logo? How does that help them? Your logo doesn’t help the consumer in anyway, but they sure as hell will spend $500 on a product and service if you happen to get in their head and you can relate to them. While some business owner is spending $500 on a logo instead of getting that into their pocket another business understands this, spends 24 hours and $100 on a logo, calls it a day and then gets $500 because they understand their audience. You want to spend mo...(more)

They gotta maintain kayfabe. There is only so much bandwidth the media has for any one person, only so much attention the public can spare. Why do you think the crown went into production with Netflix? To win sympathy. They even discuss this is an episode where they let the BBC into their home to show that they're just "normal people". The royal family is wealthy enough to surround themselves with highly skilled professionals to manage their image. No lie, this thread will be webscraped using crimson hexigon or some other social listening tool, and the sentiment of our discussion will be analyzed and reported on to some pr strategist. Why do you think Bill gates put out a docu-series on Netflix? To win sympathy, take up attention to avoid people hearing about his friendship with Epstein. This is all highly managed public relations, with the goal of distancing from Epstein. But g...(more)

>(this doesn’t really help your case, but) Of course there aren’t 75k active users here. The point is, without the aid of better figures, it’s reasonable to assume subscribers and followers are roughly representative of the size between reddit and twitter wizards communities. Or at least enough to consider a whole degree of magnitude significant. Size doesn't equal impact, its more complicated than that, different audiences, content etc... Twitter is much larger, no shit, I'm not saying Twitter doesn't serve a purpose, I'm saying Reddit serves a purpose as well. >Sure it does when it’s a relatively insignificant community and stuff posted from other social media winds up here anyway. And apparently that is the way decisions are made otherwise the wiz would be all over this sub, which they clearly are not. No, we are not insignificant and just so you know, the marketing...(more)

that's really interesting. I'm in healthcare analytics (long but, IMHO, fun story as to how I got here) and as of basically January I'm in charge of looking for grants from orgs such as FDA to do patient- oriented research. we mostly do social listening bgg and surveys - do you ever come across that kind of thing or is it mostly clinical trials?

Sorry I'm in Thailand on my honeymoon and have reddit alerts turned off to save data. You are the one making the claim so it is on you to provide the evidence, not me. I'll wait.
